Water hardness in Park City
Park City is supplied by Park City Municipal Water.
We have not found a hardness figure published by the water system itself, so we are not putting a number here. The comparison sites that do carry figures for Park City disagree with each other by roughly a factor of two.
Park City's own Consumer Confidence Report says hardness is tested quarterly in eight areas of the distribution system, but it does not publish the results, so nobody can honestly quote you a figure for Park City. What the comparison sites do agree on is the direction: this is among the hardest supply in the region. For an ice machine running a full resort season, that means quarterly descaling at minimum and filtration as standard.
